[Action 1 - Hallways]
[Jack's just arrived, and he's still taking this place in. He's had his test and his placement, but to be honest, that doesn't mean a lot to him, and, well, he's more interested in looking around. Which is what he's doing. What he's not doing is paying attention to the people in his surroundings. Even after spending what seems like weeks with the guardians (was it really all over in a few days?) he's not used to people being able to see him.
Which probably explains why he's trying to walk through people, and still not learning his lesson.]
Oof-- I'm sorry! Are you okay? [He'll offer a hand if they've been knocked to the ground, or lean over to pick up anything they've dropped, a little flustered.]
[Action 2 - Boy's Dorm]
[The door to his room's still open and he's holding up his uniform, face a picture of distaste.] They expect us to wear this? [No one mention how old fashioned his trousers are or stained his jumper.]

[Mirroring the action, the brunet will sit down as well.] The Easter Bunny? No, I only know Santa Claus, so to speak. [Not well, but they have met - and the name is different, but same same.] You'd probably have to ask Australia, he has the bunny issues.

North's all right. And I guess you won't have met Toothiana, since she hasn't been out in so long. You might have seen one of her fairies. [He reaches into his pocket, half expecting to find the warm little body of Baby Tooth there, but of course she's not and his expression falls a little.] You might have met Sandy, though?

[Kiwi looks at the other thoughtfully.] There are people from a lot of different worlds here, so that might not be the case. Maybe you could describe the person that works on Christmas? Then we can see if they match up.

North? Uh, well, he's tall. At least a foot, maybe a foot and a half taller than me. Russian too, tends to take things literally. White beard down to his stomach, and 'naughty' tattooed on one arm, 'nice' on the other.

[Thinking hard on this.] Your one sounds more like people would imagine him, though.
[A bit disappointedly:] we really seem to be from different worlds.

Our worlds can't be that different, anyway. [A thought occurs to him and he leans over.] If there's a different Santa in your world, is there a different Jack Frost?

Though he isn't one of the nations that have a greater affinity with the cold from what I've heard. [The nation has to think of one of the stories that Russia entertained the dominion with once when England along with a few of his territories had a meeting with the other empire and the child got lost in the large foreign building, only to be found by the tall man who took care of the brunet - until England found them and all hell broke loose] He once went on a frozen lake with his army, the ice cracked under their feet and most of them drowned. So I guess that's not really his element.

[But he wants to move swiftly on from that thought, so he's already trying to prompt another.] So, tell me what your America is like.

He's pretty unreliable and obnoxious, but also loud and approachable and very... open? [Trying to piece together a description.] I mean, he easily approaches other people when they don't expect anything from him politically. Not someone that I would want to fight next to, but someone who'd probably make a good mate for a game or a trip to the bar.

So there really is a person for each country. I guess that brings a whole new meaning to international relationships... [He chuckles to himself. But it still doesn't seem that unfamiliar to him - a guardian for each country seems sensible. Then again...]
Can't say that I know much about New Zealand, but I wouldn't have marked you down as one to be carrying explosives around.

There will be more than one? [This one is bad enough, causing deaths upon deaths - sure, not being used to wars of a larger scale makes it even harder to take for New Zealand than it does for England and the others, but that is not the point. The point is that this one is seriously bad enough, and if there are more... how many?]
