001 | Well hello there

[Everything about this place is new to Boris. At this point, he's not sure whether this is actually a good or a bad thing. It's not Wonderland, he's pretty sure about that now, and while the idea of exploring some place so entirely foreign to him is great and exciting and interesting and--

--what if he loses Alice?

He doesn't even know how he got here. His door is hiding from him, he's certain, and who knows if there's even another way for him to get back home. What if Alice misses him? He'd just made that promise, too, and now he doesn't even know if she's worried or maybe will even remember him if (when) he gets back. He didn't realise this when he first arrived, but now he's spent too long worrying.

The whole first day (it was day for a long time, he thinks, isn't that weird?) he spent napping in what was apparently his room now; he didn't see the other person who shared it, but hopefully they'll get along well enough whenever he does meet them. He'd been sleeping for a reason. Just hoping, on the off chance, that maybe Nightmare would be lurking around to tell him what had happened or at least that Alice was okay.

He's given up on waiting for that chance. He doesn't want to think about it, so now he's familiarising himself with the other 'magicians' (oh- that's what he is now, isn't it? a magician...he's pretty sure that role involves studying or something, but he'll figure that out later) in a more roundabout way than actually approaching them.

Which means going through their things.

Anyone in the halls may notice that he's testing almost every door; if it's unlocked, he enters and eventually makes his way back out to try another door. If you happen to be in your room at the time, a certain cat-eared boy has invited himself in and is curiously looking around with...surprisingly little regard for the fact that someone else is currently occupying it.

This starts in the men's dormitories and will eventually move on to the women's if left unchecked. He's not used to boundaries, you see.]

((ooc tl;dr: Boris is poking around your personal belongings, sorry.))

[There is an animal person poking around through her belongings. Huh. England puts her book down and stares blankly at Boris from her spot on the bed.]

... You know, if you must make a mess, you could at least start with the other lass' side of the room. I doubt she'd know the difference.
mayshereign: (I’m so practically perfect)

[She's a punk brat, really, but she'd prefer regal.] Quite all right, dear, except- Oh, yes. [Puts the book in her hands down and stands to glare impressively down at Boris.] Did anyone give you permission to enter my room and go through my things?
mayshereign: (If I had a fault)

[Pauses. Waiting for an apology, yes.] Well?
mayshereign: (The weather vane around)

... [Grabs her book and swats Boris on the head with it.] When someone catches you doing something as rude as going through their things uninvited you apologise! Stand up straight, look appropriately sorry and beg for forgiveness this minute!
mayshereign: (patently sound)

Though if you must know, it's Austen.
